Social Impact Campaign Development & Implementation

Kait has a decade of experience working with films and TV series that address social issues and seek to educate the public and create social change. She can develop and execute your full campaign strategy — including but not limited to developing your campaign’s calls to action, establishing and managing partnerships with issue-area nonprofits, and grassroots/community screening research, outreach, and fulfillment.

Creative Strategy Development

Excited about your piece of content but not sure where to start in order to get it out into the world? Let Kait help by developing a strategy for you and your team.

Grassroots (Non-Theatrical) Distribution

Want to hang onto the rights to your film for a bit longer, but want to make sure it’s seen? Kait can work with you to find the right communities and help you get your film there, handling all aspects of this type of non-theatrical distribution.

Kait has experience organizing both in-person and virtual screening events.

Virtual Screening Event Production & Management

Given the realities of our new lifestyle due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kait is able to work with you to develop, market, and coordinate all back-end logistics and day-of event production for virtual events on a variety of platforms. She can help you select the correct platform for your film based on your budget and needs.

Social & Digital Marketing Strategy

These days, “social media marketing” encompasses everything from website building to managing social channels, tracking hashtags, and even the development and execution of actions like Twitter Chats and Facebook and Instagram Live streams. Kait can work with you to develop an overall strategy, including the best platforms to use to promote your content, how to utilize in-kind partnerships, and more. Depending on her availability, she may also be able to handle day-to-day social media management for you.

Project Treatments / Pitches

Have an idea for a TV show / live show / film (narrative or documentary) that you want to pitch, but need help writing and designing a treatment? Kait can write and design a treatment / pitch deck or a more standard Word-style document.

Kait can also work with you to develop and design a sales deck, if you have a completed film or other media project and are looking for additional investors or sponsors as you work to get it out into the world.

She also has contacts in the storyboarding/illustration world if you would like to include a few pitch boards (black & white or color) to help flesh out your idea more visually.

Hourly consultation packages also available.

Some services listed are flat rate and others are contract-based (monthly retainer). Please contact Kait for more information and accurate pricing for your needs and budget.

About Kait

Kait Halibozek is an independent content marketing, distribution, and impact strategist based in Los Angeles, CA. A New England native and graduate of Wesleyan University’s esteemed Film Studies program, Kait began her career as a production assistant on the Syfy drama Alphas. She developed an interest in content strategy and marketing during her time at brand strategy firm Audience Theory.

She then spent four years moving up the ranks at award-winning impact agency Picture Motion, where she focused on developing strategies and implementing campaigns that blended grassroots marketing and distribution tactics with partnerships with nonprofits, governmental organizations, and faith organizations to bring content with a socially conscious angle to communities nationwide. In 2017, Kait managed the campaign for Red Bull Media House’s feature documentary Blood Road, where she oversaw a robust screening tour and fundraising partnership between Mines Advisory Group and Article22, which resulted in a Shorty Social Good Award for Best Brand to Brand Partnership awarded to Picture Motion, MAG, Article22, Red Bull Media House, and film subject Rebecca Rusch.

In 2019, Kait left Picture Motion and founded Kait Halibozek Consulting. Her clients have included PCH Films (Turning Point; Linda and the Mockingbirds), BrightFocus Foundation, Nine Vine / Sideyard Studios (The Quiet Epidemic), and Shine the Light Films (Americonned).

In 2021, Kait joined the Advisory Board for HOME Storytellers, a nonprofit organization that uses the power of visual storytelling to amplify solutions to the refugee crisis. She will advise the other board members and the filmmakers on social impact strategy and grassroots distribution tactics.
